In the coming year, Končar plans a revenue growth of 10 percent. They intend to achieve this through a 20 percent growth in the domestic market, primarily through projects in state-owned companies.
When asked about the feasibility of this plan in light of the loss of credit rating, CEO Darinko Bago explained that this is not a surprise for them, and in the worst case, growth in Croatia will be 10 percent, or 5-6 percent overall.
At the presentation of Končar’s results, it was highlighted that they plan a 1 percent growth in exports, but Bago explains that this is an extremely ambitious plan in the context of a 16 percent decline in the energy sector on the global market. This year, Končar is finishing with a total revenue of 2.9 billion kuna, which is a 4 percent growth.
