Patience is running out at Dina Petrokemija in Omišalj. After warning the Turkish investor and relevant ministries last week that they would organize protests this week if both parties did not fulfill their obligations, the Union of Workers of Dina postponed those actions yesterday.
The Turkish Caliskan promised a response today, and the workers decided to wait for their reply.
The company’s account is blocked, electricity supply is limited, and salaries have not been received since June of this year. If the situation remains unchanged, production cannot be restarted.
