HNB is hiring IT professionals and translators

The Croatian National Bank has announced job openings for programmer advisors, IT network specialists, and translators.

Candidates involved in the selection process receive a list of documentation and attachments they need to submit in the invitation sent. Typically, this includes proof of acquired qualifications, references, and, if necessary, a transcript of grades and other attachments relevant to the specific job posting.

Documents are submitted in an unverified copy, and before signing the employment contract, the candidate is required to present the original documents for inspection.

The documentation submitted by the candidate for the job posting is stored in the records of the Human Resources Management Directorate. If a candidate applies again for a job posting, they must fill out the application form, but they do not need to resubmit the accompanying documentation except for any that they wish to supplement their previous application with.

Candidates who have the right to priority in employment under a special law are required to indicate this in the application form and provide evidence of their recognized status in accordance with the regulation under which they obtain this right.

Candidates are generally communicated with via email during the selection process, and if necessary, by mail or phone, so it is extremely important to provide a correct email address in the application form.

The candidate selection process consists of a general part – psychological assessment and English language proficiency check, a special part – verification of professional knowledge (if necessary), and a structured interview and professional discussion.

Candidates who have already participated in the selection process for a job at the Croatian National Bank and have already completed the general part of the selection process in the past two years will receive information in the invitation about the activities they need to undertake related to the job posting they applied for.
