The indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange slightly strengthened today, following gains on European exchanges, with the most liquid stock being Atlantska plovidba.
Around noon, the Crobex was up 0.03 percent, at 1,740 points, while Crobex10 was up 0.10 percent, at 981 points. The regular turnover amounted to 3.4 million kuna, which is approximately 400,000 more than yesterday at this time.
“As on foreign exchanges, investors on the domestic market are hesitant to position themselves in stocks. Therefore, the Crobex indices are stagnating today with a negative sign, along with weak turnover. There is slightly more trading in bonds today,” says Nigela Bubalo, broker and member of the Management Board of the investment company Credos.
In block transactions of government and corporate bonds, a turnover of 16.3 million kuna has been achieved so far. On European exchanges, the main indices have recovered this morning’s slight losses after the data on the ZEW index of confidence among German investors was published, which was higher than expected. Currently, the London FTSE index is up 0.25 percent, the Frankfurt DAX is up 0.46 percent, and the Paris CAC is up 0.58 percent.
On the domestic stock market, the most traded stock was Atlantska plovidba, which achieved a turnover of 839,000 kuna by noon. Its price fell by 1.04 percent, to 218 kuna. Following is the HT stock, with a turnover of 402,000 kuna and a price stagnation at 200.2 kuna. Among the more liquid issues, the stock of IGH stands out with a price increase of 4.85 percent. At the same time, the stock of Dalekovod is distinguished by a price drop of 1.65 percent.
