The new CEO of Farmal is Hans-Georg Feldmeier, a high-ranking manager at Dermapharm A.G., reports Lider.
Feldmeier will replace the former CEO Dražen Dedi, who, along with about 30 field employees, was detained last month as part of the USKOK operation Hippocrates.
The primary activity of the Ludbreg pharmaceutical industry is the production and distribution of generic drugs. Its product list includes around 40 medications, among which the most well-known are Ibuprofen Farmal, Ibuprofen Retard, and Klavax Bid. The majority owner of Farmal is the German company Dermapharm, which purchased 95 percent of the shares in 2011.
