Agrokor’s profit in nine months 202 million kuna

The largest Croatian company Agrokor halved its net profit in the first nine months of this year due to exchange rate fluctuations and rising financing costs, amounting to 202 million kuna, Bloomberg reports.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) increased by 2 percent to 1.95 billion kuna, while revenue rose by 1.8 percent to 22 billion kuna.

– We achieved growth this year, but our net profit was affected by negative exchange rate changes, especially related to the Serbian dinar and rising financing costs – the company told Bloomberg.
