The Turkish Investment Promotion Agency (ISPAT) and Sberbank of Russia today signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The memorandum was signed by Ilker Aycı, the Agency’s Director, and Herman Gref, the CEO of Sberbank of Russia.
According to the provisions of the memorandum, the signatories have agreed to strengthen efforts and relations through cooperation in joint investments, to provide support in the process of identifying and implementing investment projects in Russia and Turkey, and to promote the investment climate in both countries. In addition, the memorandum facilitates easier exchange of information and advice in the process of promoting and implementing investment projects and other business activities.
The Memorandum of Understanding was concluded during the working visit of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to Turkey.
Commenting on the conclusion of the memorandum, the CEO of Sberbank, Herman Gref, emphasized: -Cooperation on joint investments between Russia and Turkey is continuously strengthening, and the conclusion of this memorandum with the Turkish Agency, which has extensive experience in promoting investments, will strengthen the position of the Sberbank Group in Turkey-.
