Croatian construction companies are expected to begin the project of building a stadium for the World Handball Championship, which will be held in Qatar in 2015, reports the portal constructionweekonline.com.
The project is worth $130 million, and the stadium, measuring 44,233 square meters, will be able to accommodate around 15,000 spectators.
Croatian companies secured this job after a visit by a Croatian delegation to Qatar, during which projects built for the handball championship in Croatia in 2009 were presented.
