Research: Who is the star of Milanović’s cabinet?

Ante Kotromanović is the most popular minister in Milanović’s cabinet with 72 percent support, according to the results of the Ipsos Puls agency survey for Dnevnik Nove TV.

His popularity is evident as he enjoys support of over 70 percent from both his voters and HDZ voters. There is no doubt that his recent activities related to the return of Generals Gotovina and Markač to Croatia have contributed to his popularity.

The second most popular minister is Fred Matić with 68 percent support, and his star status is further evidenced by the fact that he is supported by 58 percent of HDZ voters. Minister of Tourism Veljko Ostojić ranks third in popularity with 65 percent support. Ostojić has 80 percent support among his voters and 58 percent support among HDZ voters. Vesna Pusić remains among the popular ministers with 62 percent support, and Rajko Ostojić has the same level of support. Milanka Opačić enjoys support from 59 percent of citizens, while Ranko Ostojić has 53 percent.

Other ministers are below 50 percent popularity. Neven Mimica has the support of 48 percent of voters. Slavko Linić stands at 45 percent support, while Orsat Miljenić has the support of 41 percent of citizens. Next is Branko Grcić with 40 percent, and Arsen Bauk enjoys the same level of support.

Only 39 percent support is held by ministers Maras and Jovanović. Ivan Vrdoljak, as Minister of Economy, has a support of 38 percent, while Andrea Zlatar Violić enjoys support of 36 percent. Siniša Hajdaš Dončić has the support of 33 percent of voters, while Tihomir Jakovina finishes the year with 27 percent, and Mihael Zmajlović with 25 percent support. Radimir Čačić bids farewell to the Government with a support of 22 percent among citizens, and the new minister, who is unknown to the public, predictably enjoys support of 22 percent.

Radimir Čačić leaves as the most unpopular minister with 70 percent, followed closely by Tihomir Jakovina with 55 percent negative points. The third place is shared by ministers Jovanović and Linić with 47 percent. Also on that list are ministers Zmajlović with 36 percent and Mirando Mrsić with 36 percent.
