Croatia Youth to Business Forum is a major project of the student organization AIESEC Croatia that aims to connect companies and entrepreneurs with the student world, all with the goal of creating new ideas and innovative solutions for the future in the business world.
The Youth to Business Forum will take place on December 5, 2012, at the Faculty of Organization and
Informatics, which will host representatives of large international companies and over 150 students from across Croatia. Companies that, in their desire to share their experience and listen to the innovative ideas of our students, are participating in this year’s Youth to Business Forum include: T-Hrvatski Telekom, DHL, PwC Croatia, Erste&Steiermärkische Bank, and INA. The Youth to Business Forum will be officially opened at 9:00 AM at the Kino Galerija (Gaj) in Varaždin, and esteemed guests are expected: the Ministry of Labor and Pension System – Assistant Minister Tatjana Dalić, Biljana Birač, representative of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, Valentin Gescher, representative of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Croatia, and Vesna Štefica, representative of the Croatian Chamber of Economy. After the opening and the presentation of speakers, the project will move to the Faculty of Organization and Informatics where workshops by project partners Hrvatski Telekom, DHL, Erste Bank, and PwC Croatia will follow. The main theme of the project “Future Trends – How to React to Them?” is divided into four main topics that will be discussed at the forum: leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility. Each company participating in the Forum will have one topic through which they will present themselves as a market leader and desirable employer using the ideas of youth to improve their business. The primary goal of the project is to enable students to learn something new about business trends in the coming year, innovative solutions, entrepreneurial thinking, and similar topics. The entire event takes place as part of the national conference of AIESEC Croatia, but the Youth to Business Forum is not intended only for members of the organization, but also for all interested students – students from all over Croatia who are interested in business trends, networking with innovative students and companies that want to make positive changes in the world and create new ideas that will thrive in the business world of the future are welcome. Free transportation for participants will be organized from Rijeka and Zagreb in one bus, but the number of seats is limited.
