A unique regional conference dedicated to blogs and bloggers – Blogomanija will be held from December 7 to 9, 2012, at the Falkensteiner hotel, located at the famous Serbian ski resort Stara Planina.
The conference will bring together the most popular bloggers from across the region, as well as a large number of visitors who follow and respect their work or wish to enter the blogging waters. So far, over 500 participants and 50 speakers have registered, and interest in this event is growing day by day.
The theme of the first Blogomanija will be The Impact of Blogs and Social Media on Social and Political Life in Serbia and the Region. The three-day program includes dynamic panel discussions as well as short and effective lectures and workshops. The most read bloggers from the region will participate in the discussions, speaking about the state of the blogosphere, blogging perspectives, and other popular topics related to blogs. Participants will also have the opportunity through workshops to learn how to set up and maintain a blog, how to write to attract a regular readership, and how to earn from blogging.
The Croatian blogosphere will be represented by Tadeja Blažević with her culinary blog, the editor of the internet portal Netokracija Ivan Brezak Brkan, public relations consultant at the agency Stratego Krunoslav Vidić, and PR expert from the agency Manjgura Krešimir Macan.
The organizers emphasize that the goal of Blogomanija is to establish communication between the regional community of bloggers, companies, and the state, as well as dialogue between online and offline media. The idea is to gather all current and future bloggers in one place to exchange and gain new knowledge about this increasingly powerful media channel that is changing the world around us.
Of course, breaks for socializing and conversation, as well as evening entertainment, have not been forgotten. On the first evening, guests will be welcomed by #Kafanizacija, and on the following evenings, visitors will be entertained by the Belgrade Acoustic Orchestra.
