Workers of Jadrankamen from Brač began a protest this morning in Pučišća, dissatisfied with the course and manner of the bankruptcy proceedings which they consider illegal.
They gathered at 6 AM in front of the factory entrance, confirmed the leader of the Independent Union of Jadrankamen, Tonči Drpić. There are about twenty protesters, workers and their family members.
However, there are twice as many members of the intervention police from Split and the police from Brač, said Drpić.
– We will try to prevent criminals who have robbed Jadrankamen and are working there again from entering the company. When this government does not want to react, we, the workers, will react – he said.
