Law on Providing Services in Tourism Open for Public Comments

The Ministry of Tourism has prepared amendments to the Law on Providing Services in Tourism, which will be open to the public until December 6, 2012.

Through forms published on the Ministry’s website, interested parties will be able to express their comments on the topic. The amendments relate, among other things, to the services of travel agencies, whose business conditions have now been simplified, passenger transfers, and the detailed definition of certain tourist services in health, adventure, and congress tourism. For example, the circle of individuals who can provide health tourism services is being expanded.

The Ministry states that the main goal of these amendments is to facilitate and simplify the provision of services in tourism, while simultaneously ensuring quality consumer protection and enabling even higher quality performance of activities, which will contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of Croatian tourism.
