The Timberland international conference was held at the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel from November 18 to 23, gathering over 300 sales representatives and authorized distributors from around the world.
The congress organizers, in collaboration with the exclusive distributor for Croatia, Katapult, organized a day of socially beneficial work for the participants after the official part of the program. Timberland has been promoting socially responsible business practices and a series of volunteer actions in local communities for many years, and as part of its socially responsible work and environmental care, 150 Timberland employees participated in three actions on November 21. In collaboration with Eko Omblići and Zeleno Sunce, a planting action of olive saplings, oleanders, cypresses, and Dalmatian aromatic herbs was organized around the playgrounds above the garages in Mokošica, followed by painting the walls of the playgrounds and Eco Park, as well as repairing toys and equipment in the park. In collaboration with the Kurenat Association, an action was organized to build a ‘gumn’ – the parish summer stage in Srebreno Park, Dubrovnik Parish, while with the Animal Protection Society, the construction and installation of dog houses in the Dog Shelter in Žarkovica was organized.
