The annual meeting of the largest French sales network of travel agencies, Havas Voyages, which brings together 460 members, is being held in Dubrovnik.
On this occasion, 240 French agents, mainly agency directors involved in this network and their business partners, have traveled to Dubrovnik, and the host of this year’s meeting is the Croatian National Tourist Board in cooperation with the tourist boards of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County and the City of Dubrovnik.
During the three days, in addition to participating in workshops and business meetings, guests from France will tour the historical landmarks of Dubrovnik, visit Ston and Pelješac, and get acquainted with the gastronomic offerings of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, as announced by the Dubrovnik Tourist Board.
The Havas Voyages website is the only online platform that offers clients guided tour services for sale, and the stay in Croatia and familiarization with the tourist offerings of Dubrovnik, our most popular destination and its surroundings, is an important contribution to the further growth of tourist visits from France.
In the first ten months of this year, Croatia was visited by 400,000 tourists from France, which is 5 percent more than last year, and they achieved 1.6 million overnight stays, or 4 percent more.
