– This country cannot emerge from the crisis if managers, that is, the people who will manage resources and create material goods, do not receive their rightful place, and the rightful place is on the pedestal of society – said the president of the Croatian Association of Managers and Entrepreneurs HUM-CROMA Vladimir Ferdelji at the conference held as part of the 22nd CROMA 2012 meeting.
– Managers are the layer of people who should be highly valued and who should contribute the most to overcoming the economic crisis – emphasized Ferdelji at the conference ‘The Responsibility of Managers and Entrepreneurs in the Application of the New Financial, Enforcement, and Criminal Law’.
Today’s meeting, he said, is taking place in a rather tense climate, as the anti-entrepreneurial part of the public has sharply portrayed our efforts to highlight the best among us. We will not be confused, Ferdelji conveyed.
– Regardless of all the manipulations, of all the untruths to which both the association and all of us will be exposed, we will continue very firmly, deeply believing that what we are doing is the best we can – he said.
He also noted that this year’s CROMA meeting is taking place in a situation where key laws are changing, the responsibility of managers is being tightened, and it even leads to a rather illogical situation where someone who works on behalf of another will be held personally liable for their considerations.
