Čačić relieved of all duties, Vrdoljak received the Government’s blessing

The Government of the Republic of Croatia has given consent for the opening of an Embassy in the Republic of Croatia during the closed part of the 63rd session, as announced by the Government.

The complete material for this item cannot be published by the Government, respecting the provisions of international agreements, of which Croatia is a party, states the announcement.

Additionally, the Government has responded to the Administrative Court in Osijek regarding the administrative dispute against the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Croatia on the appointment of the director of the institution and has authorized state official Dragana Čupić from the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Nature to represent in the mentioned proceedings.

The Government also discussed personnel issues, and thus Anka Mrak-Taritaš was relieved of her duties as Deputy Minister of Construction and Spatial Planning due to her new appointment, effective November 15, 2012.

The current chair of the Central Coordination for Monitoring and Protecting the Rights and Interests of the Republic of Croatia at sea, Ante Kotromanović, who was a representative of the ministry responsible for defense, was relieved due to the expiration of his term. Members of the Coordination Mirna Kovač Bašić, Nikola Milina, Kristian Turkalj, Davor Škrlec, Boris Makšijan, Dražen Vitez, and Ante Urlić were also relieved. Siniša Hajdaš Dončić is the new chair, as a representative of the ministry responsible for maritime affairs, transport, and infrastructure, and the new members, representatives of the relevant ministries, are Zlatko Sokolar, Gordan Markotić, Jasenka Nećak, Davorin Kajfeš, Kristina Čelić, and Tomo Radičević. Vlado Dominić and Robert Hranj are new members by position.

The current head and deputy heads of the Interdepartmental Working Group for Integrated Border Management of the Republic of Croatia, Nikola Milina, Stipica Kuna, and Josip Miličević, have been relieved. The new head is Zlatko Sokolar, and the deputies are Zoran Ničeno and Gilio Toić Sintić. Members Gordan Jerbić and Nenad Lamer have been relieved, as well as Antonio Mučnjak, Dubravka Kunac, and Vedrana Filipović Grčić, who have been reappointed as members. Additionally, Emilija Vojić and Ivo Afrić have been appointed as new members. Evica Marković and Koraljka Knezić have been relieved as deputy members, while Ivana Javor, Marina Šarčević, and Tomislav Stipić have been reappointed, and Vjekoslav Ricov is a newly appointed deputy member.

Based on changes in the composition of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, and with the positive opinion of the State Office for State Property Management, the Government has adopted conclusions at the session determining Ivan Vrdoljak as the new representative of the Government in the assemblies listed below, thereby nullifying the previous conclusions of the Government from January 26, 2012, and relieving Radimir Čačić of the mentioned duties, states the announcement.

Thus, a new member of the General Assembly of Hrvatska elektroprivreda d.d. has been appointed, Ivan Vrdoljak, while Radimir Čačić has been relieved of that duty. Additionally, Ivan Vrdoljak has been appointed as a new member of the General Assembly of Jadranski naftovod d.d., while the previous member Radimir Čačić has been relieved.

Similarly, Radimir Čačić has been relieved of his position as a member of the Assembly of Plinacro d.o.o., and Ivan Vrdoljak has been appointed as a new member. Ivan Vrdoljak has also been designated, as a representative of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, as a new member of the General Assembly of Hrvatske brodogradnje-Jadranbrod d.d., while Radimir Čačić has been relieved of that duty.

Radimir Čačić has also been relieved of his position as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and Ivan Vrdoljak has been appointed as a new member.

The current president of the Management Board of the Agency for Public-Private Partnership, Radimir Čačić, has been relieved, and the new president, who is by position the Deputy Prime Minister authorized by the Government for this purpose, is Branko Grčić. New members have also been appointed, who are by position ministers responsible for the economy and construction, thus Ivan Vrdoljak has been relieved and reappointed, while Anka Mrak-Taritaš is a newly appointed member of the Management Board.

Ivan Vrdoljak has been appointed as a new member of the Supervisory Board of the Center for Monitoring the Business of the Energy Sector and Investments, and Radimir Čačić has been relieved of that duty. As the minister responsible for the economy, Ivan Vrdoljak has been appointed by position as the president of the Management Board of the Agency for Investments and Competitiveness, while Radimir Čačić has been relieved of that duty.

Additionally, Ivan Vrdoljak has been appointed as the representative of the Government of the Republic of Croatia in the Economic-Social Council instead of Radimir Čačić, who has been relieved of his duties. Radimir Čačić has been relieved, and Ivan Vrdoljak has been appointed as a new member of the Negotiating Committee of the Government of the Republic of Croatia for negotiations on the Basic Collective Agreement for officials and employees in public services, as a representative of the Government of the Republic of Croatia.

By amending the Decision on the establishment and appointment of the Commission for the free allocation of foreign goods, the previous member of the Commission Radimir Čačić has been relieved, and Ivan Vrdoljak has been appointed as a new member.

Anka Mrak-Taritaš has been appointed by position, as the Minister of Construction and Spatial Planning, as a new member of the Management Board of the Fund for Compensation for Seized Property, while Ivan Vrdoljak has been relieved of that duty.

The Decision on the establishment of the Commission for the implementation of the public tender for the realization of the “Brijuni Riviera” program at the locations of Pineta, Hidrobaza, and the island of Sveta Katarina-Monumenti has been amended. The amendment relieves members of the Commission Radimir Čačić and Ivan Vrdoljak, and along with the reappointed Ivan Vrdoljak, Anka Mrak-Taritaš is appointed as a new member of the mentioned Commission. Radimir Čačić has also been relieved of his duties as co-chair of the Intergovernmental Croatian-Russian Commission for Trade, Economic, and Scientific-Technical Cooperation, while Ivan Vrdoljak is the new co-chair.

And finally, the previous president of the Management Board of the Agency for State Property Management Radimir Čačić, the deputy president Neven Mimica, and members Siniša Hajdaš Dončić, Tihomir Jakovina, Veljko Ostojić, Davor Majetić, and Mladen Novosel have been relieved. The new president is Branko Grčić, his deputy is Ivan Vrdoljak, and the newly appointed members are Siniša Hajdaš Dončić, Tihomir Jakovina, Veljko Ostojić, Anka Mrak-Taritaš, and Mladen Pejnović.
