Charity Exhibition Path of Kindness

The Croatian travel agency Da,da,da is organizing a charity photo exhibition ‘Path of Kindness’ which will take place on Thursday, November 29, at History Caffe in Zagreb starting at 8 PM.

The authors of the photographs depicting life in Africa are volunteers from the humanitarian association ‘Path of Kindness’ who have spent a significant part of their lives volunteering in the African parish of Subukia in Kenya. Da,da,da, an agency that promotes individual travel with the desire for travelers to experience destinations, cultures, people, and customs as they truly are, rather than from the beaten classic tourist paths, has been allocating funds from sales for those in greatest need since its inception.

– Given that we travel a lot, this summer we had the opportunity to meet Father Miro Babić who has been living and leading a mission in the village of Subukia in Kenya for several years. Thanks to donations from good people around the world, Father Miro has successfully renovated many schools, built an orphanage for abandoned children ‘Little Home’, and enabled education for a large number of children growing up without basic living conditions. We have seen firsthand how little is needed for the smiles of those children and that money is not the decisive factor for happiness, so we have a great desire to help as much as possible. Father Miro Babić is coming to Croatia after a long time, so we decided that his stay is an excellent opportunity for such an event where he will present his long-term work in distant Africa – stated Tea Marković, owner of the agency Da,da,da.

The association ‘Path of Kindness’ was founded in Zagreb with the aim of helping more than 15,000 residents in the parish of St. Francis in the Lower Subukia province. The association gathers young people who have volunteered there over the past years. They will share their experiences during their stay in Kenya and introduce attendees to the activities and programs of the Association as well as volunteer work and forms of assistance. All attendees will have the opportunity to purchase original African souvenirs and photographs, the proceeds of which will go to those in greatest need in this African parish. The Encognito band will ensure good and pleasant entertainment, while the program will be hosted by radio presenter Frano Domitrović.

Well-known travel writers Boris Veličan, Robert Knjaz, Hrvoje Šalković, Petar Rikić, Miro Aščić, and many others have already expressed their support for this humanitarian action and will be available during the event for any questions and travel recommendations. All proceeds from the sale of books by these travel writers will go to help children in Subukia (Kenya). In addition, many well-known faces from the sports and social life have confirmed their attendance.
