The Ministry of Agriculture and the Agency for Payments in Agriculture, Fisheries and Rural Development have adopted a framework plan for announcing tenders for the measures of the IPARD program in 2013, the Agency reported today.
In developing the plan, consideration was given to the demands of users and consulting firms, and information from the field was taken into account to facilitate the passage of applications in the upcoming tenders and further increase the utilization of the IPARD program, the statement said.
The Agency notes that the framework plan for announcing tenders for four measures of the IPARD program was prompted by numerous inquiries and great interest from potential users, with the aim of timely preparation of all interested parties.
The plan was preceded by the official approval of the European Commission, which acknowledged the fifth amendments to the IPARD program that Croatia requested to expand the possibilities for improving the operations of agricultural holdings. The Agency draws attention to the fact that the tender plan is provisional and that the Agency reserves the right to change the dates for announcing tenders for individual measures.
According to the framework plan, next year, tenders for measure 101 – investments in agricultural holdings for the purpose of restructuring and achieving community standards, and for measure 103 – investments in the processing and marketing of agricultural and fish products for the purpose of restructuring these activities and achieving community standards, will be announced in mid-February, early April, September, and October.
For measure 202 – preparation and implementation of local rural development strategies, tenders will be announced in mid-January and mid-February, while for measure 302 – diversification and development of rural economic activities, it is announced that tenders will be announced in early June and August.
