Weekly decline greater than one percent in 11 funds

Last week, fifty-five out of a total of eighty-five active funds recorded an increase in share value.

A total of six funds increased by more than one percent, while eleven funds recorded a weekly decline greater than one percent, writes Iztok Likar from the HRportfolio portal. The results of all funds ranged from +1.64 percent to -6.91 percent.

On a weekly basis, the most successful equity funds were Prospectus JIE, whose share value increased by +1.64 percent, and NFD Aureus BRIC with an increase of +1.48 percent. The largest decline among equity funds was recorded by the NFD Aureus US Algorithm fund, whose value fell by -6.91 percent, followed by Platinum Global Opportunity with a decline of -2.23 percent. The most successful mixed fund was ZB global, which increased by +1.26 percent, followed by ICF Balanced with an increase of +1.02 percent. The largest decline in this group was recorded by OTP Balanced, whose share value decreased by -1.57 percent, followed by Agram Trust with a decline of -1.12 percent. The most successful bond fund was ZB bond, which increased by +0.70 percent, followed by OTP Euro Bond with an increase of +0.17 percent. The largest decline in the bond group was recorded by Erste Bond, whose share value decreased by -0.79 percent, followed by PBZ Bond fund with a decline of -0.68 percent. Money market funds had positive results, with the most successful being Platinum Cash, which increased by +0.45 percent.

Regarding the results this year, the largest increase of +18.52 percent among equity funds was achieved by NFD Aureus New Europe. Among mixed funds, Allianz Portfolio topped the list with an increase of +10.21 percent. As for bond and money market funds this year, the highest increases were recorded by OTP Euro Bond (+14.09 percent) and Locusta Cash (+3.51 percent).

In terms of returns over the last 12 months, the most successful equity funds were ZB Euroactive with a growth of +15.09 percent and Raiffeisen World and HPB WAV DJE, which achieved growth of +12.22 and +12.00 percent, respectively. The most successful mixed funds are led by Allianz Portfolio with a growth of +8.07 percent and HI-balanced, which recorded a growth of +6.26 percent. Among bonds, the highest return in the observed period was achieved by OTP Euro Bond, which increased by +11.21 percent, followed by ZB bond with a growth of +8.66 percent. Among money market funds, the most successful were Locusta Cash with a growth of +4.10 percent and Agram Euro Cash with a return of +4.05 percent.

Last week, the equity index Crobex increased by +0.55 percent, and its last value was 1,753.82 points, which means it is up by 0.78 percent this year. Crobex10 also increased, finishing the week at 989.45 points, representing a weekly growth of +1.44 percent, and is up by +1.36 percent this year. The bond index Crobis recorded a negative change last week, falling by -0.16 percent and finishing the week at 102.99 points, while it has recorded a growth of +12.85 percent this year. Major U.S. equity indices experienced declines last week ranging from -2.07 to -2.70 percent, while major European equity indices grew in the range of -0.96 to -1.93 percent.

Last week, the regular equity turnover on the Zagreb Stock Exchange amounted to 58.519 million kuna, an increase of +26.11 percent compared to the previous week. The most traded was the stock of Hrvatski Telekom, which generated a turnover of 9.386 million kuna and ended the week at 208.91 kuna, an increase of +1.65 percent. The biggest winner among the ten most traded was the Turbo certificate DAX Short, which increased by +21.11 percent, finishing trading at 104.40 kuna, with a trading volume of 2.418 million kuna. The largest decline among the most traded was the stock of Dalekovod, which fell by -17.63 percent, finishing trading at 85.50 kuna, with a trading volume of 3.143 million kuna. All ten most traded securities had a turnover exceeding one million kuna, and four recorded a price increase. In total, eleven issues accumulated a turnover greater than one million kuna, while twenty-five issues were traded in amounts exceeding half a million kuna.
