Defeated presidential candidate Mitt Romney, who did not prepare a concession speech, launched a website dedicated to the new President of the United States, which was, however, available 24 hours after the official results were announced.
On a part of the Political Wire blog screen, the ‘elected president’ page could be seen with a large image of Mitt Romney, while the American flag was in the background.
– I am enthusiastic about the future of our nation. My priority is to bring jobs back to Americans – Romney stated. The date of his presidential inauguration, January 21 in Washington, was also posted on the site, along with a link to his public relations service. A picture of Paul Ryan, the ‘new vice president’, greeting the crowd alongside Romney was also published.
On Tuesday evening, Romney said he had composed a presidential speech of 1,118 words, but had not written a concession speech.
