Two hundred participants, including 36 mayors, 7 deputy mayors, and 11 heads of city administrations, will begin discussions on new investment opportunities at the 4th Meeting of Mayors and Entrepreneurs in Osijek, which lasts until November 9th.
The event is opened by President Ivo Josipović, followed by a discussion on tax reforms and investments in cities featuring Boris Lalovac, Deputy Minister of Finance, Anđelka Buneta, Chairwoman of the Management Board of Fina, Davor Inđić from EBRD, as well as the mayors of Rijeka, Osijek, Prelog, and the Deputy Mayor of Zagreb.
In the afternoon, a presentation on the advantages of partnerships between entrepreneurs and cities is expected, with participation from: Krešimir Kašnar (Rasco), Rade Ignjatović (Libusoft Cicom), Pavle Vojtek (Vojtek), Sanja Batić (APIS IT), Vjekoslav Lovrić (Redox), and more details on green and energy-efficient cities: Ana Pavičić-Kaselj (Ministry of Construction), Josip Borak (CEI), Žana Klarić (City of Zadar), Vedrana Likan (Council for Green Building), Vjeran Piršić (Eko Kvarner), Tvrtko Ćavar (Philips).
