Ekopark brings Kraš one million kuna monthly

Kraš has presented a new concept of the Animal Kingdom program and an online game that will connect the chocolate bar with the recently built Kraš Ecopark.

The park is located in Batinama in the municipality of Pisarovina on 422 hectares. The investment worth 7.5 million euros is Kraš’s first major project outside its core domain of confectionery production. The Ecopark consists of houses with apartments and bungalows on green areas that include two swimming pools, children’s playgrounds, sports fields, and farms planted with various agricultural crops. The park offers entertainment for children, school trips, as well as team buildings, seminars, education, and presentations, wedding organization, and various celebrations.
As part of this Kraš project, there is also the restaurant Domaćica, which offers an original selection of dishes based on our ancestors’ recipes.
– In five months since its opening, the park has been visited by 30 thousand guests – said Damir Bulić, CEO of Kraš. Although it is still early to predict how much profit Kraš will gain from this investment, the company emphasizes that they are satisfied with the results so far. Namely, the park generates about one million kuna in revenue monthly, without investing in marketing, which they will start in the spring to attract school trips to the Ecopark.
Additionally, Kraš, in collaboration with the Drap agency, has developed the EkoPark application that turns the virtual world into reality. The application allows users to create a real zoo using virtual coins by entering codes found on Animal Kingdom chocolate bars. In this way, users of the application participate in building a real zoo, which is the first example in Croatia and the region where the food industry realizes a project of this type. Some game users will also receive free visits to the Ecopark and a plush toy of the lion Leopold.
