The company PharmaS Lekovi from Skopje, operating within the PharmaS group owned by Luka Rajić, has received approval for the first six medicines/molecules on the Macedonian market, the company reports.
These are generic medicines from the cardio, gastro, and neuro areas, based on which a total of 11 products will be launched on the Macedonian market.
The approval was preceded by a Macedonian DPP (GMP) inspection, which confirmed high standards in the production, quality control, and distribution of medicines, PharmaS emphasizes.
“I am extremely pleased that we quickly received our first medicine registrations and passed another DPP inspection shortly after opening our office in Macedonia. This supports our vision of expanding our business in the region and our mission to be a significant partner to healthcare systems. We are preparing a number of other medicines for various markets where we operate, while simultaneously focusing on positioning in pharmaceutical markets,” said Zdravka Knežević, CEO of PharmaS.
In addition to Croatia, PharmaS operates in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, and Albania. In Croatia, a total of 24 molecules, or 49 products, are registered; in Serbia, there are 19 registered molecules, or 38 products; in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 14, or 31 products; and in Kosovo, 5 molecules, or 11 products.
Since the establishment of this company for the production and trade of pharmaceutical products in 2008, the number of employees has grown to 170, of which about half are in Croatia.
