After the removal of illegally constructed buildings in the coastal counties (Istria, Šibenik-Knin, and Split-Dalmatia), the Construction Inspection continues the removal process in continental Croatia, specifically in the City of Zagreb.
In the first phase, the plan is to remove three illegal buildings constructed after June 21, 2011, outside the construction area, and as such, they do not meet the conditions for legalization under the Law on the Procedure for Dealing with Illegally Built Buildings.
There are three buildings in question, and currently, one investor is removing their illegal building while the Construction Inspection monitors the removal process. Another building is on the list for removal through a contracted company, should the investor not remove it by November 14, 2012.
