Đuro Đaković Group Increases Total Revenue by 42.3 Percent

In the first nine months of this year, Đuro Đaković Group achieved a consolidated profit after taxation of 2.9 million kuna, according to the Group’s business report for the first nine months published on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

In the same period last year, the profit of Đuro Đaković Group after taxation amounted to 893 thousand kuna. The Group witnesses a significant increase in revenue compared to the same period last year, with the majority of revenue coming from core activities – the production of combat armored vehicles, freight wagons, and the construction of industrial facilities, emphasizes the Management of the Slavonski Brod company in the explanations of the report. Total revenues of the Group’s companies in the first nine months amounted to 805.7 million kuna, an increase of 240 million kuna, or 42.3 percent compared to the same period last year. 
Business revenues amounted to 804.2 million kuna and increased by 44.7 percent year-on-year, or by 248.7 million kuna. Total consolidated expenses amounted to 801.1 million kuna, which is an increase compared to the first nine months of last year by 238.6 million kuna, or 42.4 percent.
In the Đuro Đaković group, along with the parent company Đuro Đaković Holding, there are seven other companies in which the holding has a majority ownership. The parent company, Đuro Đaković Holding, achieved a profit of three million kuna in the first nine months. The total revenues of Đuro Đaković Holding in the period from January to September this year amounted to 172.3 million kuna, while total expenses were 168 million kuna.
The Management in the interim report on the business and status of the holding and group emphasizes that Đuro Đaković Group, according to the business plan for 2012, plans to achieve 1.17 billion kuna in revenue. The majority of production is contracted, states the Management, which expects to achieve the goals set by the plan for this year.
