The internet giant Google announced on Monday the introduction of a new computing tablet that is expected to be larger than the previous one and will be available from November 13 in eight countries: the USA, Canada, France, Spain, Germany, the United Kingdom, Japan, and Australia.
Google posted this announcement on its official blog. A major launch event was initially planned in New York, but it was postponed due to the arrival of Hurricane Sandy, which led to a state of emergency in the city.
The new tablet, named Nexus 10, features a 10.1-inch (25.7 centimeters) screen while the previous model is expected to be Super AMOLED and support a resolution of up to 2560 x 1600 pixels.
