Aleksandra Ljuba conditionally sentenced to eight months in prison

Former spokesperson of the Zagreb Police Department, Aleksandra Ljuba, was conditionally sentenced on Tuesday to eight months in prison with a probation period of two years.

Ljuba was accused of taking a friend, a victim of domestic violence, and her children to the Rakić resort in Dramlju for ten days at the expense of the Ministry of the Interior.
The amount in question is about 2,400 kuna for food, instead of 8,500 kuna for ten days of accommodation for two adults and two children. Although Ljuba subsequently paid the full amount for the stay, she did not avoid the indictment.
