The indices of the Zagreb Stock Exchange were slightly down around noon, with the AD Plastik share being of somewhat greater focus for investors following the announcement of slightly weaker business results for the third quarter.
The Crobex index was down 0.33 percent at 1,770 points, while Crobex10 was down 0.38 percent at 996 points. The regular turnover amounted to 5 million kuna, which is approximately 3 million more than on Friday at this time. Of this, 3.65 million kuna was related to share trading, while the remainder was from trading in Croatian bonds.
– In the focus of investors in the first part of this week will be the announcements of companies’ business results. This morning, AD Plastik announced its results, and from ‘more prominent names’, we also expect the announcement of results from Ina and Končar Elektroindustrija today. All of this could impact the movement of Crobex, says Ana Matić, financial analyst at Zagrebačka banka.
As she adds, AD Plastik achieved slightly weaker results on a quarterly basis compared to the same period last year, with consolidated sales revenues decreasing by 6.6 percent, and net profit attributable to equity holders of the parent company down by 21.2 percent. The consolidated sales revenues of AD Plastik in the third quarter amounted to 144.07 million kuna, while the profit attributable to equity holders of the parent company was 928.5 thousand kuna. The share price of the company weakened by 0.65 percent to 105 kuna, with a turnover of 213.3 thousand kuna.
