In Velika Gorica, in front of about 200 craftsmen and entrepreneurs, the association Croatian Craftsmen and Entrepreneurs (HOP) and the accompanying internet portal Turopoljka.com were presented, which will monitor and report on events from the Velika Gorica, as well as from the entire Croatian crafts and entrepreneurial scene.
Among the numerous guests who are entrepreneurs, the event was graced by the president of the City Council of Velika Gorica, Vesna Škare Ožbolt, and actor Zlatan Zuhrić Zuhra, who supported the entire project, as stated in the press release.
The HOP association – Croatian Craftsmen and Entrepreneurs was formed by expanding UPVG – the Employers’ Association of Velika Gorica, which was established in 2008 with the aim of promoting the activities of its members, and thus promoting the economy in the area of Velika Gorica. After several actions of the Employers’ Association of Velika Gorica, such as the ‘cluster’ for weddings and events, Open Door Days, VG Card, support for lawsuits against banks… interested entrepreneurs from several cities in Croatia expressed their desire to join this idea. Thus, the association HOP – Croatian Craftsmen and Entrepreneurs was established in this direction with the aim of promoting, developing, and improving craftsmanship, entrepreneurship, and innovation in Croatia and strengthening the competitiveness of Croatian craftsmen and entrepreneurs in the Republic of Croatia and the world, as explained in the press release.
