Interior Minister Ranko Ostojić lives in the apartment of media mogul Ninoslav Pavić, owner of Europapress holding, as reported by Večernji list.
The apartment, which has a balcony and a storage room, measures 60.12 square meters and is located in the Zagreb municipality of Maksimir. The apartment on the third floor is owned by the company Com.Com, whose “boss” is none other than Ninoslav Pavić. This company is also on Linić’s list of shame due to a tax debt of 2,521,402.02 kuna. Despite this, the Agency for Management of State Property pays rent for the apartment where Minister Ranko Ostojić lives, which has been confirmed to Večernji by the Government.
Ninoslav Pavić stated that Ostojić began using this apartment while he was an employee of Slobodna Dalmacija and remained there even after he took over the ministerial position. Ostojić was a member of the management board of Slobodna Dalmacija from 2005 to 2007, and then he was appointed as the director of investments and construction of the complex of this Split daily and in Dugopolje.
– A rental agreement was concluded with Mr. Ranko Ostojić because he was a member of the management board of Slobodna Dalmacija, so he used the aforementioned apartment occasionally even before 2008 without compensation during frequent official visits to Zagreb – replied the owner of EPH.
The apartment is located on Bužanova Street, where Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandić also resides, and at the same address is the headquarters of the Police Union, while a few numbers down is the apartment of Mladen Barišić, accused in the Fimi Media affair. On Bužanova Street, there is also another major tax debtor and EPH employee Davor Butković
