On the ZSE, last year trading in shares decreased by 22.3 percent

On the Zagreb Stock Exchange in 2010, a total turnover of 12.9 billion kuna was achieved, which is 18.2 percent higher than in 2009, while the regular trading in shares decreased by 22.3 percent compared to 2009, amounting to 5.8 billion kuna, according to the annual trading report from the Exchange.

The last month of 2010 brought an unexpected turn for the trading statistics of the Zagreb Stock Exchange. In mid-December, "Ina" occurred, and some of the daily turnovers in December entered among the ten best daily turnovers in the history of the Exchange. The stock indices in 2010 recorded a significant increase – Crobex by 5.3 percent, and Crobex 10 by 9.5 percent, and such index growth was not recorded by any exchange in the narrower region last year; on the contrary – unlike the Zagreb Stock Exchange, the indices of regional exchanges ended the year negatively. The most traded stock last year was the HT stock with a turnover of 1.5 billion kuna, and the price of that stock increased by 5.2 percent, to 288.71 kuna. Following is the Ina stock, which was the most traded in December, with an annual turnover of 1.2 billion kuna and a price increase of 93.3 percent, to 3,188.99 kuna. The third on the list of the most traded stocks last year was the preferred stock of the Adris Group, which was traded for 268.1 million kuna, with a price increase of 1.6 percent. The Atlantska plovidba stock achieved a turnover of 236.2 million kuna, with a price decrease of 22.3 percent, while the price of the Dalekovod stock fell by 20 percent, and the turnover of that stock amounted to 228.4 million kuna.
