The first cruise ship of 2011, the MSC Magnifica, has arrived at the port of Gruž in Dubrovnik today, bringing 3,000 passengers and 1,000 crew members on a New Year’s cruise.
After Dubrovnik, the ship will travel to Venice. MSC Cruises is the first cruise line to visit Dubrovnik throughout the entire winter, with three arrivals scheduled in January and February, and this number will increase in March, with the company’s ships expected to visit Dubrovnik around 90 times this year. In the previous year, 2010, MSC Cruises ships visited Dubrovnik more than 90 times, bringing approximately 250,000 guests.
