The Mandi Shopping Center in Zagreb will temporarily close part of its premises starting January 16 for renovations, said Dragutin Mamić, an advisor to the Italian shopping center, noting that this does not involve the closure of the entire shopping center.
Due to renovations and the introduction of new brands, the Mandi furniture store and the Tommy hypermarket will be closed, Mamić explained, stating that the opening of the renovated section is planned for the fall. The remaining thirty or so stores within the shopping center will continue to operate normally, he said. The Mandi Shopping Center, owned by the Italian investor Zamparini Group, opened in September 2007 in the eastern part of Zagreb on Slavonska Avenue, and the investment was worth 50 million euros.
