The Faculty of Economics Enrolls the Third Generation of Participants in the FBA-CIO Academy

The Faculty of Economics at the University of Zagreb is enrolling the third generation of participants in the FBA-CIO Academy, an innovative lifelong learning program in the field of business management with an emphasis on the strategic application of information technology in business, it was announced today.

This is a unique program that has received excellent ratings from the first two generations of participants, in which participants will acquire and renew managerial knowledge and leadership skills, particularly in the area of information technology management in a modern business environment.

In modern business, information technology and information systems are no longer used as background, ‘technical’ tools, but as a source of innovation and competitive advantage. Managing information technology is a significant challenge for managers, as well as for IT professionals themselves. The program is intended for board members, managers at other levels, future managers, heads of IT in the economy and public administration, project managers, younger IT professionals with managerial ambitions, and users. The program leaders are Prof. Dr. Velimir Srića and Prof. Dr. Mario Spremić, while the coordinator and secretary is Mr. Božidar Jaković.

The program consists of six modules with a total duration of 60 hours, and lectures begin on January 21, 2011. For basic information about the program, modules, execution dates, lecturers, application methods, and program costs, see HERE and HERE
