At Hrvatski Telekom, representatives of the employer and the union signed a new Collective Agreement for the years 2011 and 2012.
The agreement was signed after a months-long negotiation process that took place in a constructive atmosphere and mutual respect among the negotiating parties, as stated in the press release. On behalf of the company, the new Collective Agreement was signed by Ivica Mudrinić, President of the Management Board and CEO of HT, and Branka Skaramuča, Member of the Management Board and Chief Human Resources Officer, while on behalf of the union, Juko Cikojević, President of the Croatian Telecommunications Union (HST), and Jadranko Vehar, President of the Republic Union of Workers of Croatia (RSRH), signed it.
During the negotiations, emphasis was placed on upgrading the salary and performance reward system. Thus, the Collective Agreement ensures social peace over the next two years and allocates 3 percent of the salary budget according to the managers’ assessment of employee performance in 2011 and 2 percent of the salary budget according to the managers’ assessment of employee performance in 2012. Employees will be offered the option to choose a gross amount of 6,000 kuna either as a vacation allowance or as a contribution to the Closed Voluntary Pension Fund of T-HT.
– We are satisfied with the Collective Agreement signed today, which is the result of social dialogue that has been ongoing for several years, as well as the willingness of both parties to maintain the key acquired rights of workers.
