Can you imagine a small piece of the world where little has changed since the distant year of 1270? This piece of the world is not a figment of our imagination; it is very real – located among the rose gardens of French Provence and the vineyards of the Charente castle, where the Frapin family has been producing the finest and most luxurious cognacs for almost eight hundred years. They have added another art to their perfect cognacs – the creation of authentic niche fragrances simply called Frapin. The famous family has successfully selected and combined the best, like a composer creating the perfect harmony of scent and taste, perfect cognac and harmonious perfume. The family still preserves the tradition of vine cultivation, selection and distillation of cognac, aging in oak barrels, maintaining among cognac producers, which varies from fruity to floral taste. Their perfumes exude the same scents, showing us that even in times of disposable values, patient work with passion, adhering to old recipes and using the highest quality ingredients is still valued today.

Unisex on the Skin
Frapin perfumes have been developed in six different sensual combinations in which the most precious essential oils, the finest spices, the scent of oak barrels, and, what else but – top-quality cognac are mixed. Just like cognac, the scents vary from fruity to floral with predominant notes of carefully selected spices, as well as wood and earth. Frapin fragrances are unique for another detail – they exude a special scent of the Folle Blanche grape, a variety that nearly disappeared from the Cognac region due to disease. Due to the unique combination of these feminine-masculine components, all six Frapin perfumes wear equally well on both male and female skin, leaving an elegant and subtle fragrant trail that lasts all day. Until recently, the collection had five perfumes. Frapin 1270, simply named after the year the family established their vineyard in the Cognac region, is their best-selling perfume in the world. The velvety scent contains, among other things, wood, pepper, coffee, coconut, vanilla, hazelnut, Folle Blanche flowers, and the grass of the famous vineyards.

Fans of the brand equally love Caravelle Epicée, a slightly sweeter and more feminine scent, although this cannot be claimed based on its composition. It contains coriander, pepper, tobacco, sandalwood, amber, but this hot spicy scent is adored by women. It is named after the ships that brought various exotic spices to Europe in the Middle Ages. Esprit de Fleurs is even more feminine, a subtle, elegant scent dominated by notes of rose, jasmine, grapefruit, vanilla, and mandarin. Passin Boisée, as a unisex scent, may be more appealing to the male gender, as it somewhat takes us back to the times when gentlemen, cigars, and luxurious leather armchairs ruled the social salons. It contains notes of rum, cedar, patchouli, moss, cloves, and nutmeg.
