Oil derivatives at INA’s stations more expensive by a record 14 to 27 lipa

Oil derivatives from today, December 14, at INA’s gas stations have increased by 14 to 27 lipa per liter, with eurosuper BS 95 at a new price of 8.98 kuna per liter and eurodiesel BS at 8.32 kuna per liter reaching their highest prices this year.

According to the price list published on INA’s toll-free phone, eurosuper BS 95, from December 14 for the next two weeks, is sold at a price of 8.98 kuna per liter, što je 16 lipa više od dosadašnjih 8,82 kune. Najviše je, za 27 lipa po litri, poskupio eurodizel BS, s dosadašnjih 8,05 kuna na 8,32 kune po litri. Za po 26 lipa po litri poskupli su super 95 i super plus 98, čija je cijena prešla razinu od devet kuna. Tako nova cijena supera plus 98 iznosi 9,13 kuna po litri prema dosadašnjih 8,87 kuna. Super 95 prodaje se po 8,93 kune prema dosadašnjih 8,67 kuna po litri. Nova je pak cijena dizela 8,11 kuna po litri, što je za 23 lipe više u odnosu na dosadašnjih 7,88 kuna. Za 14 lipa povećana je cijena plavog dizala, s dosadašnjih 4,85 kuna na 4,99 kuna po litri.

The price of extra light heating oil is higher by 15 lipa, and its new price is 5.44 kuna compared to the previous 5.29 kuna per liter. The latest price increase at INA is explained by the rise in oil derivative prices in the Mediterranean market. According to unofficial sources, in the latest price change for the two best-selling derivatives, eurosuper BS 95 and eurodiesel BS, INA did not go for the maximum increase allowed by the Regulation on the Determination of Oil Derivative Prices. Namely, according to unofficial information, the price of eurosuper BS 95 could have been increased by another 15 lipa, thus exceeding the psychological barrier of nine kuna, as the price could have gone up to 9.13 kuna per liter. The price of eurodiesel BS is 8.32 kuna per liter, and it could have increased by another five lipa, or to 8.37 kuna per liter. The new price of the best-selling gasoline eurosuper BS 95 at 8.98 kuna per liter is also its highest price this year, with this fuel being of Euro V quality introduced in April this year. The highest prices of oil derivatives were recorded during 2008 when, from May to August, the price of eurosuper 95 was above the psychological barrier of nine kuna.

Compared to the beginning of this year, the price of eurosuper is higher by 16.8 percent (or by 1.29 kuna), so for example, filling a 50-liter tank now costs 449 kuna, što je 64,5 kuna više nego na prvoga dana 2010. (kada je litra eurosupera 95 na Ininim benzinskim postajama koštala 7,69 kuna). The current price of the best-selling diesel fuel, eurodiesel BS, is also higher by 16.7 percent (or by 1.19 kuna) compared to the first day of this year. Thus, for a 50-liter tank, one now has to pay 416 kuna, while at the beginning of the year, 50 liters of eurodiesel would have cost 59.5 kuna less. Oil derivative prices are adjusted every 15 days based on the Regulation on the Determination of Oil Derivative Prices, with the maximum allowed bi-weekly increase or decrease in prices being three percent compared to the previous maximum allowed retail price level. The correction, according to the regulation, primarily depends on the movement of derivative prices in the Mediterranean market and the exchange rate of the dollar against the kuna. (H)
