The Ministry of the Interior has issued a warrant for Sanader

The Ministry of the Interior has issued a warrant for Ivo Sanader, the former Prime Minister of Croatia, who is wanted for conspiracy to commit a criminal offense and abuse of position and authority, as announced on the MUP website.

The issuance of the warrant was ordered last night by USKOK after što was the investigating judge of the Zagreb County Court, Krešimir Devčić, ordered a one-month investigative detention for Sanader due to flight risk and danger of influencing witnesses. The warrant states that Ivo Sanader was born on June 8, 1953, in Split, holds Croatian citizenship, and speaks three foreign languages (English, German, Italian). (novilist.hr)
