The Crobex index was down 0.13 percent at 1,793 points as of 12:15 PM. The Crobex10 weakened by 0.08 percent to 955 points. Regular trading in shares amounted to 12.2 million kuna, šwhich is approximately 7 million more than yesterday at this time.„Despite a slightly higher turnover on the domestic exchange, the Crobex index is still slightly down and lacks strength for a continued recovery after two days of slight gains. The market is very calm, there are no new business news, and it is possible that the entire December will pass in such a calm tone“, emphasizes Ivana Hatvalić, director of the Investment Banking Department at Štedbank.
The highest turnover so far has been achieved by HT shares, amounting to 7.4 million kuna. Its price weakened by 0.7 percent to 269.56 kuna. A million kuna turnover was also achieved by the preferred shares of Adris, amounting to 2.64 million kuna, and its price strengthened by 0.7 percent to 257 kuna. Following in turnover is the Atlantic Group share, which achieved 603,000 kuna, and its price weakened by 0.35 percent to 804.1 kuna. On European exchanges, stock prices are rising today in anticipation that the European Central Bank will announce the possibility of purchasing government bonds from eurozone countries, thereby alleviating the debt crisis. The London FTSE index, Paris CAC, and Frankfurt DAX are up between 0.3 and 0.8 percent. (H)
