Anita Markota Štriga is the new director of the Small Business Directorate at Erste Bank. In her new role, she will be responsible for the business strategy of the specialized organizational unit that exclusively deals with small entrepreneurs.
She has been employed at Erste Bank since 2000 and has held a number of responsible positions in business with legal and natural persons. She became the deputy director of the Commercial Center in the Economic Sector in 2003, and in 2006 she was appointed acting director of the Commercial Center. From 2006 to 2007, she served as the director of the Vukovarska Advisory Center in the Citizenship Sector, and in 2009 she was appointed deputy director of the Regional Directorate West, a position she has held until now. She is fluent in English. Božidar Jovanović, the former portfolio management specialist in the Directorate for Strategy, Supervision, and Reporting, has also changed roles and will now serve as the director of the Directorate for Quantitative Research. In his new position, Jovanović will be responsible for credit risk modeling through the development of internal rating models and various tools aimed at improving the overall risk management process and assessing the adequacy of internal capital.
