At an auction held by Christie’s in London, the gun of the most famous film secret agent James Bond was sold for £278,000. The gun was used in the 1963 film From Russia with Love, in which the legendary Sean Connery portrayed agent 007.
This is the most expensive Bond gun ever sold. Another one, which appeared in the 1974 film The Man with the Golden Gun, was sold for £15,000. Unlike that piece of costume, which fetched a staggering price, the costume of Darth Vader from Star Wars was not sold. An anonymous owner will attempt to auction it again.
