Andrej Matijević is the new spokesperson for BSA Croatia, the global representative of the software industry’s interests in the field of copyright protection and intellectual property.
Matijević graduated from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb and obtained a master’s degree in intellectual property law, new technologies, and commerce in the USA at Franklin Pierce Law Center. After gaining experience in several law firms in Zagreb and New York, he founded the Matijević law firm in 2004, which primarily deals with intellectual property law, new technologies, and advertising law. He is currently employed as a lecturer for the course "Intellectual Property" at the graduate program of VERN Polytechnic. He is a member of numerous national and international professional associations and regularly publishes articles in professional publications, including ‘Managing Intellectual Property’, ‘IP Value’, ‘Informa’, ‘INTA Bulletin’, and ‘Managing Intellectual Property’.
