Small Entrepreneurship School for Schoolchildren

The panel discussion on the topic “Shaping the Entrepreneurial Mindset in School Age,” organized by the Association for the Promotion of Family Values – Blessed Aloysius Stepinac, was held on Thursday evening at the premises of the Zagreb elementary school Špansko Oranice.

– The mindset changes slowly, but every journey, even one of a thousand miles, begins with the first step – opened her presentation guest from the VERN’ college, Zrinka Gregov, teacher/entrepreneurship trainer. Gregov emphasized the importance of developing entrepreneurial traits and highlighting positive entrepreneurial role models in order to develop a system of values and motivation. She also stressed that, to shape the entrepreneurial mindset in schoolchildren, it is crucial for parents to start valuing and developing their entrepreneurial spirit so they can pass it on to their children. – Entrepreneurs are very similar to football players; their success is the result of innate talent, persistent training, many added balls, fair play, and a lot of ‘matches under their belt’ – she concluded. The held panel is part of a series of lectures and discussions organized by the Association for the Promotion of Family Values in collaboration with the Špansko Elementary School, aimed at improving the quality of family life with a special emphasis on providing support to parents, children, and youth in facing the challenges and risks of today’s modern society.
