The theme of this year’s ‘Business Salon’ will be the operations of small and medium-sized enterprises, as small and medium entrepreneurs are the backbone of modern economies, accounting for more than 90 percent of all registered business entities.
It is precisely the creativity, innovation, and proactivity of small and medium entrepreneurs that can provide something new, give Croatia a competitive advantage, and the economic boost we so desperately need, as stated in the press release. The ‘Business Salon 2010 – Rise’ will take place on December 2, 2010, in Zagreb at the Hypo Center, organized by the Marketing Department agency and Abaculus Knowledge for business consulting. On the second day, December 3, 2010, Davor Banović will hold a workshop for business IT novices (and experts) – Google Apps.
Additionally, as part of the conference, there will be a fair for the business world where companies that assist businesses in their operations will be presented, such as printing, business software/hardware, business education, accounting services… Some of this year’s speakers include: mr.sc. Elvira Mlivić Budeš – „What do customers want from us?“, Jasna Bratulić – „Conflict Management“, Damirka Petrović – „The Phone as a Channel of (Un)successful Sales“, Davor Banović – „Free Google Applications in Your Company“, Srđan Roje – „The Competitiveness of Trust“ and the well-known entrepreneur Manuela Šola Oršić.
