Former CEO of HEP, Ivan Mravak, returned to work at HEP on Wednesday after spending 167 days in custody and taking three weeks of vacation thereafter.
Mravak did not return to the position of advisor to the director of HEP Distribution, the position from which he was removed along with his entire management team and subsequently taken to Remetinec, but instead appeared in a new role as an engineer at HEP Construction on Heinzelova Street. He has been assigned to a position classified as "engineer V. category". In this new role, he can expect a salary between eight and nine thousand kuna. In front of the entrance to the building where Mravak now sits all day, two police officers responsible for his security stood watch.
