Winners of the ‘Ambitious Awards’ Announced

Dajana Lacković from Nedelišće, Tamara Gelenčir from Josipovac, Lidija Šušek from Zagreb, Zlatko Švenda from Varaždin, and Mauro Teković from Pula are the five luckiest among the senders of numerous ambitious SMS messages in the past month. The draw on Monday, November 8, concluded the ‘Ambitious Awards’ game organized by Lider to celebrate its fifth anniversary.

Since the first announcement of the contest rules in a special edition of Lider on October 7, interest has been high. Daily, SMS messages from ambitious participants eager to win one of five prizes arrived: the General MBA program at ZŠEM, a seven-day English language course in London with PBZ Jumbo Travel Tours, a Raymond Weil watch, a brand represented by Marli, with an additional leather strap, office furniture from Phoenix Lifestyle, and an Apple MacBook, 13.3”, along with Apple’s Mighty Mouse from HGspot. The prize draw was conducted by a three-member committee consisting of the director of Lider press, Željko Vukelić (chairman), Tomislav Blagaić, and Željko Krizmanić, under the supervision of notary Janko Žitak.

The winners were drawn by representatives of the companies whose prizes the readers competed for. After što the dean of the Zagreb škola ekonomije i managementa, Đuro Njavro, drew the MBA winner, we were able to inform Dajana Lacković that she would školovanje nastaviti u Zagrebu. It truly holds that the prize went to the right, ambitious hands. The student from Nedelišće has only one exam left to complete her studies at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek. – Since I planned to continue studying, this prize came at the best time – Dajana told us, adding: – I still can’t believe you drew me and made me so happy! The marketing director of Lider press, Sandra Kvakan, drew the SMS sent by Lidija Šušek from Zagreb and brought her the laptop.

– I have wanted an Apple MacBook laptop for some time and did not want to miss the opportunity to participate in the contest – said the delighted Lidija. Luka Marinović from Marli d.o.o. watches and jewelry is responsible for ensuring that Zlatko Švenda from Varaždin will always know the exact time. Zlatko will replace his old watch with a new Raymond Weil, with an additional leather strap that, as he says, caught his eye in Lider’s contest. Mauro Teković from Pula has never been to London. Thus, the happiness brought to him by Marina Posavec from PBZ Card Jumbo Travel Services, who drew his SMS for the seven-day English course in London, is even greater. Tamara Gelenčir also wanted to go to London. However, this member of the Student Leader Club sent an SMS for office furniture as a gift for her entrepreneur father. And it was this SMS that was drawn by the representative of Lider press, Sandra Kvakan, sending office furniture from Phoenix Lifestyle to Josipovac. We thank everyone who participated in the contest, our partners whose prizes we distributed, and we congratulate the lucky winners.
