At the recently concluded international event for grape growers and winemakers in Split, a wine made from marasca cherries was presented, which experts claim is the only one of its kind in the world, reports the portal slobodnadalmacija.hr
The marasca wine is the product of Marijan Vrsaljko from Nadina, who started producing marasca wine in very small, experimental quantities a few years ago, and this year made 500 liters of marasca wine, which he presented last weekend in Split. There, he received a Gold Plaque and a gold medal for his marasca wine at the 20th international event for grape growers and winemakers. (www.slobodnadalmacija.hr)
