The Croatian language will become the 24th official language of the EU following Croatia’s accession to full membership in the European Union. This will be concluded at the Intergovernmental Accession Conference of Croatia and the EU on Friday, during which the chapter on Institutions will be closed.
Croatian citizens will be able to write to EU institutions in Croatian and receive responses in – Croatian language. (www.vecernjilist.hr)
