At the beginning of the year, the Zagreb company Blue Studio received a final ruling from the Administrative Court after three full years, confirming that its location and building permits for 11 villas in Mala Rudina near Stari Grad on Hvar have once again become legally valid and final.
Investors have suffered significant damage due to the years-long inability to use the villas. After legal issues, the project worth 4.8 million euros, which included some foreign investors, has been put up for sale. The title of a recently published advertisement in the daily newspapers, ‘Due to withdrawal from the Croatian market, the foreign investor is selling the project,’ is a clear message to the bureaucracy that has jeopardized entrepreneurial interests. – We are no longer interested in writing about this, we are only interested in the sale – says Maja Serdar, one of the directors of Blue Studio, adding that everything is clear from the advertisement.
